Horseshoe Canyon Sends

Nalle Hukkataival and Ian Dory have been traveling around the good ole USA and have recently stopped in Arkansas to check out Horseshoe Canyon for some bouldering. They both managed a one day of Lost in the Hood (V14). This problem was first sent by Dave Graham and has seen only one other repeat by Paul Robinson. Impressive sends by both climbers especially after only one day of work.

Our beloved Tavman, Tavmanian Desil, or Tavin Craig Cope as some like to call him.
Tavin is going to be leaving our school in pursuit of a stronger passion at the end of this semester. We are all sad to see him go, but no one is more sad than I. Our bromance hardly had a chance to smoulder, but if had a chance, could have roared into a blazing flame of love and passion. But all of us who know the Tavman realize this is the right path for himself. So many great memories we shared play through my mind. Cleansing his fun parts with hand sanitizer on long climbing trips, glorious flailing at the local crag, exotic dancers phone#’s, first trad climbs, way too many PBR’s, and more to come. I think I am speaking for everybody when I say, “Tavin, please grow back that gnarly mustache.”
Ill see you on our next trip brohah.

Patxi Usobiaga finished with Competition Climbing

Unfortunately for all you competition climbing fans out there, some unfortunate news has just emerged. Patxi who has been one of the worlds best competition climbers for the past decade has decided to retire from the sport due to injuries he has suffered from a car wreck 10 months ago. Hopefully he is enjoying his new life away from the sport and putting his relentless passion to something else!
